1. About this platform

Digital Marketplace Kohat (“the Platform”) is a free online directory hosted and promoted by the District Administration Kohat to help buyers discover local businesses, products and services in District Kohat. The Platform is a discovery and listings tool only. It does not sell any goods or services, does not process payments, and is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.

2. Transactions happen off-platform

Buyers contact sellers directly (WhatsApp, phone call or on-site message). Price, quality, delivery and payment method (cash, bank transfer, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, cash on delivery, etc.) are agreed solely between the buyer and the seller. The District Administration Kohat is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or delivery of any item, for any payment, or for any loss or dispute arising from a transaction.

3. Seller badges

• Community Seller – any registered seller. Listings go live immediately and have not been checked by the administration.
• Verified by District Administration – the seller has completed a one-time identity and business check. Verification confirms identity only; it is not a guarantee of any individual transaction.

4. Seller responsibilities

Sellers must provide accurate information, list only lawful goods and services they are entitled to sell, honour the prices and descriptions they publish, and keep their contact details current. Prohibited: counterfeit goods, weapons and ammunition, drugs, stolen property, adult content, misleading listings, and anything unlawful under the laws of Pakistan.

5. Reporting and moderation

Every listing has a “Report Listing” button. The administration may edit, hide or remove any listing, and suspend any account, at its discretion and without notice.

6. Safety tips for buyers

• Meet in a public place or visit the shop where possible.
• Inspect items before paying. Avoid paying large advances to unknown sellers.
• Prefer Verified sellers for high-value purchases.
• Report suspicious listings immediately.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the current terms.
